The old Rossi 92s have a barrel band with a pinned front sight. You can replace it with a blade of a different height, but it's a lot less versatile than a dovetail front sight. On the other hand, the older 92s don't have the cheesy safety. The best rear sight looks like the XS sight that straddles the bolt, on top of the reciever.
