Thx, but I had to start the game to figure it out myself as the mods had to review my post, idk why that info was so hard to find, literally every post on the internet on dual wielding is just "get pips in flails and scimitars so you can use the two most broken weapons in the game" and the wiki labels longswords as "Large Swords" so it was super confusing. You can dual wield any "Light" weapon, to DW all weapons you need the feat. And to answer the question, yes you can DW all versatile weapons, but with the feat. At best, you can wield 'versatile' weapons either 1 or 2-hd.Put a shield in your other hand. I think it will always default to 2h unless you equip a shield or dual wield (I think in BG3 right now, that requires you to take a feat at level 4 to do that with a longsword in the main hand). I took the dueling class passive at level 2 so want to fight one handed. (D8+2 > D10).
