Rubico is a sniper rifle. It benefits from a scope, headshot multiplier, faster fire rate and reload speed. It's a hitscan and de facto dps weapon for Eidolon (not to say it's the only one viable however). But it's a single target weapon and like most sniper rifles, requires some level of consistent headshots.Rubico and Vectis Prime are my favorite sniper rifles. Of those two, I like the Rubico more. I modded mine for increased magazine to have 6 shots instead of 4. What I really like about is that I have 6 continuous shots without charging before reloading. 6 or 4 shots without having to reacquire my aim through the scope.
Here is a build I use for hunting those Eidolon bad boys. I use This is due to how the damage calculation in warframe works. In Eidolon hunts, you already got the extra dmg boost from Volt's shield and Harrow's crit buff, and rubico's zoom buff (+50% cd on high zoom, not affected by zoom mods), and likely rubico's combo counter.
