Forum Rules. I successfully sprayed some KAC rail panels with Brownell's Alumahyde II OD Green and they matched my TD and Vltor OD Green furniture rather well. I now am installing FDE furniture on another AR build, and I would like to spray some more KAC panels with a matching FDE color. On the Brownell's website, their "Coyote" looks close to FDE.Brownells Alumahyde is an epoxy paint, but try different shades, if available. Some shades are sold out sometimes and FDE doesn't aways look like Magpie FDE. There are some other tan or brown shades that might be closer to true FDE, but the FDE color too. Do some test sprays on paper and let them dry to see their colors.

Aervoe field drab is not a good match to FDE. It is more a coyote brown, similar to KAC taupe. Aervoe Coyote is the closest I've seen and it varies batch to batch. Aervoe Spray paint works great and has the colors available to fit the bill. Best prices I've found are from DSG Arms.
