High ascension Defect advice. Hey there. I have had no real trouble reaching A20 and win with both Silent and Ironclad. I had no real issue reaching A18 with the defect, with various kind of decks. Maintaining "roughly" (not having any record) a 50/50 win rate in ascensions over 10. However, I seem to be at a wall with the defect.Just Fight The Elites. Because a run of Slay The Spire can take upwards of two hours on Ascension 20, sometimes it's best to get strong or die trying. Silent, on the current patch, is absolutely terrible at handling Act 1 Elites. Her card strength is just a bit poor unless you luck out with a lucky Neow reward.Dark Orb or Frost Orb scaling via loops is very efficient. Artifact is insanely powerful with Defect but you should also not be afraid to play Biased Cog if you don't have reliable Artifacts. It's just a clock really like Corruption or Wraith Form. In Hallways and Elites 5 turns of +focus is enough 90% of the time.
