Fisher plow no power to controller.
The plow motor runs when you put a jumper wire to solenoid. Power to one of the red wires and both black wires. The controller seems to have quit. It's less than one year old but the old round plug. Backlight works but the red light doesn't come on when you hold on. Took the controller apart and there is a part at the back that is HOT.
Parked my plow with blade down. We NH t to move it to its Summer location and couldn't move the plow. 1. I changed the power cable from the + side to solinoid, replaced solinoid, cleaned any ground I could locate. 2.the red power light on the controller comes on, nothing happens. Im sorry dont have expericence with fisher plows but I will get a bigger fuse. Either a 10amp or 15amp and it shouldnt blow then. I have done this with fuses on my trucks before.
