I know that actual delivery can vary greatly after effacement and dilation, but what has your personal experience been with these numbers? FTM, 38 weeks…I was 90% effaced and 1cm dilated at 36 weeks and my dd was born at 38 weeks. When I arrived at the hospital, two days later, I was 100% effaced and 5cm dilated. You can walk around for weeks fully effaced and slightly dilated. The birth of your baby really depends upon if your body and your baby are ready.
