Dasher waiting for order.

I ordered from a fast food restaurant and I saw that the dasher was waiting for the order for 30+ minutes. I politely asked if there was a problem with the order and he said "on my way". Then I saw a message saying "order picked up" and he slowly left the restaurant to my address (no other orders).2+ hours waiting, restaurant now closed, dasher not responding. Question. I placed a doordash order over 2 hours ago, and it still says the restaurant is preparing it. Yesterday we ordered, and it showed dasher waiting for order. but it just sat in that status with the time being bumped up again and again. And then the dasher icon showed leaving, but the status still showed waiting. No idea why they aren't responding, but my guess for the wait is this: he was probably waiting awhile to get your order, then got another Chipotle order while waiting for even further out, so is now waiting for that order too.

I see many posts on here about a dasher waited 30 minutes plus at a restaurant for an order etc. I will NEVER wait more than 10 minutes, and if I get a vibe from the employees that it would be any longer of A wait I unassign the order immediately and go about my day.

I once had a Dasher who waited a long time, and when they asked how much longer, the employee said it would be an hour, maybe an hour-and-a-half. My order should have been declined immediately, before any Dasher was assigned. As it was, I thanked the Dasher, then texted Customer Support and got the order canceled and refunded.
